Mind + Body + Soul

During this special session, participants will be motivated to activate their mind ,body and soul by the creator of “Mvstercamp” Mvstermind.

How To Soundcheck & Prepare For A Live Show

In this technical workshop, Mvstercamp participants will walk through the process of properly conducting a full soundcheck before a show.

How To Create Show Mixes

Presented by Sonca Nguyen

A 45-minute long presentation where Mvstercamp participants will learn how to design a stage plot and create a technical rider. The remaining 45 minutes would allow for the participants to begin designing a stage plot and tech rider for themselves.

Advancing The Show &
Industry Standards

Presented by Lucie Switalski

A 45-minute presentation where Mvstercamp participants will learn how to inquire with a venue about booking a show, what should be in an EPK, how to communicate & advance an upcoming performance with a venue, etiquette as a performing artist the day of the event, how to submit a setlist with a performance right organization, show settlement and whatever else deemed relevant for concert booking from an artist-venue perspective. For the remaining 30-45 minutes, Mvstercamp participants will create/update their EPK.

How To Put On A
Memorable Performance

Redd and Mai Lee

A 45-minute long presentation on best practices in enhancing one's stage presence, stage etiquette, and how to put on a memorial performance through choreography. Immediately following this presentation, a select number (3-4) of Mvstercamp participants will perform and receive critiques on how to improve their stage presence and performance from Redd and Mai Lee.

Guerrilla Marketing

Presented by Finsta

A 45-minute long presentation where Mvstercamp participants will learn different strategies and tactics that artists/musicians have used to gain awareness for a campaign, project, or event. Topics we would like to have covered include (but are not limited to) poster boarding, wheat pasting, projection mapping, and spray chalking. For the remaining 45 minutes, Mvstercamp participants will exercise some of the things they learned from the presentation by activating the Grand Center Arts District by spray chalking and posting promotional posters about upcoming performances for the pop-up stage at Music at the Intersection.

Strength & Stamina

Presented By Cynn Marie

A 90-minute presentation that details how to physically prepare for musical performance. This would include proper breathing techniques, tips for improving body posture, how to increase stamina, and anything else you would find relevant for a musician to know. This an interactive and bodily-kinesthetic workshop that gets Mvstercamp participants' bodies moving. 

St. Louis Music Eco-System:
Live Music

During this 45-60-minute panel/fireside chat, Mvstercamp participants will learn from St. Louis industry professionals within the live music industry. Panelists will share insightful stories, perspectives, and lessons on how St. Louis' live music ecosystem intersects and valuable tips that artists can apply to enhance their live music business. 

Learn From The Legends

During this 45-60-minute panel/fireside chat, Mvstercamp participants will learn from St. Louis musical legends as they share stories, perspectives, and lessons on navigating the industry as national recording and touring artists.
